Hp Scanner Cannot Detect Ocr Software
Windows 10 doesn't include OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Software; and nor has any previous version of the Windows OS.. The printer option works perfectly, the 'Scan' option does not Alert on printer screen shows HP cannot detect the OCR software.. Check with HP Support, their on-line documentation and drivers, and ask in their forums.. What does it mean ' The HP Scan application cannot detect the OCR software?' I have installed my software for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Plus. HERE
? My remote session was almost an hour to initialize the OCR software How can it stop working after one scan? On printer screen it shows my Desktop number under that it shows no computer listed when I click on no computer listed it shows WINDOWS XP and WINDOWS 7 I do not have any of these windows I have Windows 10/ I'm so confused right now Thank You for help.. Right-click on the software installation file and select the Troubleshoot Compatibility Option.. Multi-Function Printers sometimes come with an included OCR application, which has to be installed as part of the Printer setup process and your Printer seems to be one of those, but the software provided with the printer must be relatively old, given the age of the Printer Model, so it's a bonus if it still works with Windows 10.. Called HP support did a remote fix and 'Scan' worked perfectly Proceeded to do another scan later,ALERT OCR cannot be detected! What's up with that.. You could possibly try reinstalling the OCR software in (Windows 7?) Compatibility Mode to see if it will work. cea114251b HERE
Yes the issue remains I should have stayed with my Windows XP it was a breeze ToniK. 5
